November 2018 newsletter – your help needed

by | Nov 5, 2018 | Plan | 0 comments

Hello everyone – there’s lots going on this month, so please read on!

Camden CIL consultation
As many of you will know, now we have a Neighbourhood Plan in Highgate, 25% of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) monies collected from developers by the councils must be spent in our area. In Haringey, the Council works directly with the Forum on  CIL projects but in Camden, they have a more complicated system of allocating the funds through local councillors. Some time ago, we agreed CIL spending priorities with our councillors and Dartmouth Park Neighbourhood Forum (who share Camden’s Highgate Ward with us) but now the Council are updating that list and undertaking a public consultation to inform this. So please go to the Camden Consultation page and give them your suggestions for infrastructure projects in the Camden side of our area before November 12th..

Tell us how new bus routes would help you
HNF has been working with our neighbouring forums to lobby Transport for London (TfL) for better connections between our communities, shops, hospitals, schools and open spaces. Now we need your stories to bring the statistics to life. Find out more and let us know what you think about our ideas for a new route here.

The exhibition will be held at The Mills Centre, 5 Bishopswood Road, N6 4PP and available to view on Tuesday 20 November and Wednesday 5 December, both from 4 to 8pm.
